He was predeceased by: his father Delbert B. Meyer; his sisters, Suzanne Konrad and Joan M. Smith of Indianapolis; and his nephews, David Bernard Smith and Gregory Scott Smith.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Stephen Konrad, James Konrad (Pam Errandi), Christine McGrath (Michael) and F. Rexford Smith, II.
