With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William E Houchens (Glasgow, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Houchens and Mary Morgan Houchens Eubank; his stepfather J. B. Eubank; and his siblings, Edna Skaggs and Joseph Eubank, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Wallace Houchens (Mikie); his children, Theresa Houchens of Smiths Grove and Mike; his daughter-in-law Dickie Houchens; his grandchildren, Olivia Bradshaw (Will) and Thomas Houchens (Bailey); and his great grandchildren, Grady of Glasgow and Lydia Bradshaw of Glasgow. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Southside Baptist Church Building Fund or Hospice of Southern Kentucky, Bowling Green, Kentucky.
