She was predeceased by: her husbands, Allison A. Westbrooks and Sereal L. Lay Sr.; her parents, Willie C. Mays and Gracie "Hicks" Mays; and her siblings, Willie Mays, Marvin Mays, Scharlie Mays and Anna Mays Goins.
She is survived by: her children, Sereal Jr. Lay (Amanda), Willie Lay (Melissa), Waynel Lay and Avis Burrow (Mario); and her brother Larry Mays. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
