She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilford Schumacher and Lorraine Schumacher (Gallagher). She is survived by: her husband Ronald F. Wachter; her daughters, Michelle Cave (Emil) and Susan Gregory (Tom); her grandchildren, Ronald Wallace (Raine), Michael Hart (Danielle), Mason Gregory and Emma Gregory; her great grandchildren, Jeremiah Hart, Delilah Hart and Russell Wallace; and her sister Janis Brule. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in Joan's memory.
