She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Townsell and Lucy Stewart Townsell; her husband LeRoy Gibson; her siblings, Jack Townsell, James Townsell, Paul Townsell, Robert Townsell, Reese Johnson and Helen Townsell; her children, Zadie Mae Gibson and Jerry Gibson; her grandson Jon Gibson; and her son-in-law Perry "Stump" Munday.
She is survived by: her children, Roy Gibson (Bonnie) of Greenville, KY, Henry Gibson (Marsha) of Pinckneyville, IL, Dorothy Stewart of Greenville, KY, Helen Smith (Donny) of Graham, KY, Marie Munday of Greenville, KY and Joe Gibson (Angela) of Greenville, KY; and her siblings, George Townsell, Johnny Townsell, Lucian Townsell, Susan Beck and Velma Garrett. She is also survived by 24 Grandchildren; 43 Great Grandchildren; 22 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gary's Funeral Home (405 Hopkinsville St, Greenville, KY 42345). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
