We bid farewell to Denver Lee Gibbs (Grand Rivers, Kentucky), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 24, 2025 at the age of 71. Denver touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Denver may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Denver touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gibbs and Carrie Crick Gibbs; and his siblings, Phylllis Hutchison, Velma Duvall and Howard Gibbs.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Underwood Gibbs of Lake City; his sons, John M. Gibbs (Deanna) of Grand Rivers and Daniel Gibbs of Eddyville; and his grandchildren, Gianna Gibbs, Brittany Gibbs Ashley Rowan, Trystin Gibbs, Tannah Gibbs and Kensleigh Edwards. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
