With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tolbert D. Sheppard (Grand Rivers, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 30, 2025 at the age of 80. As Tolbert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Tolbert. Though Tolbert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Sheppard (Wathen); his children, Stephanie Sheppard and Justin D. Bales Sheppard (Erin); his grandchildren, David Jeremy Massengill, Garrett Wayne Sheppard, Taylor Joseph Sheppard and Madison Nicole Sheppard; and his sisters, Wanda Dean Snyder and Carmon Woodford. He is also survived by several Nieces& Nephews and several Great- Nieces & Nephews.
