With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bertha Fay Goodwin of Gray, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Crett McDonald and Zella Mae McDonald (Hembree); her husband James Goodwin; her son Phillip Derek Goodwin; and her siblings, Cliff McDonald, June Van, Mae Sutton and Charles McDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Zella Melissa Goodwin of Louisville and James Goodwin of Gray; her siblings, Arthur Melvin McDonald (Sue) of Alabama and Emily Black (Carson) of Mt. Washington; and her grandchildren, Gene Stuckey, James Stuckey, Faye Stuckey, Tyler Goodwin and Taylor Goodwin (T. J.). She is also survived by several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends.
