He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Moses and Carrie Smith Moses; his wife Rooney Faye Smith; his brother Bill Moses; and his great grandchild Bennett Moses.

He is survived by: his children, Chris Moses (Mary), Kevin Robert Moses (Karen) and Marty Moses (Brendia); his sisters, Carmelita "Carm" Rose of Lexington and Jackie "Jap" Cooke of Lexington; his sister-in-law Margaret Moses of Harlan; his grandchildren, Marcus Moses, Crystal Moses, Mackenzie Montgomery (Steve), Kevin A. Moses (Laurie), Jamie Bingham (Shane), Benjamin Moses (Meredith) and Kiker Moses (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Gretchen Gray (Tyler), Mallory Harris (Ethan), Hailee Moses, Shelby Wyatt, Coleman Moses (Abbagail), Katelyn, Peyton, Bentley Moses, Lexi, Ryker Moses, Emilee, Haiden Bingham, Miles, Mia Moses, Eowyn, Bowen Montgomery, Evan, Gunner, Jordan, Jackson Moses, Nehemiah Taylor, Kamie Moses, Jaiman Moses and Mazikeen Looney; his great great grandchildren, Kaidence, Timberly Tuttle, Lincoln, Loren Gray and Lyndon Harris; his nephew Tony Irvin; Danny Patterson Moses of Gray. He is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
