He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas and Sarah Gray Owens; his wife Judy Ann Elliott; and his siblings, J. L., Lewis, Larry, Raymond, James Owens, Beatrice Keys and Betty Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Donna J. Owens of Gray, Debra Owens Riggs (Jim) of Franklin, IN, Donnie E. Owens of Gray, Rachal Owens Smith (Chris) of Corbin and Ana Owens Hensley (Dustin) of Berea; his siblings, Sue Marler of Gray and Alvin Owens (Maggie) of Gray; his grandchildren, Austin Riggs (Brooke), Owen James Thomas Riggs, Reid Brewer, Reagan Brewer, Khloe Ann Scalf and Kamden Scalf; his great grandchildren, Aria Kay Riggs, Luke Ryan Owen Riggs and Kendall Reid Brewer; and his siblings-in-law, Christine Engle of Gray, Ronnie Jones of Gray and Johnny Hatfield of Corbin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; among other relatives and dear friends.
