She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Browning and Garnet Hinchman Browning; her husband William Wentz; her son Eddie Wentz; her brothers, Jack, Max and Paul Browning; and her sisters-in-law, Lorraine Browning and Donna Browning.
She is survived by: her daughter Melanie (Mick Franks) of Denton, KY; her daughter-in-law Robin Wentz of Grayson; her sister-in-law Emma Leigh Browning of Martha, WV; and her grandchildren, Becky Clark (Jeremy), Micah Franks (Kristie), Marit Franks (Anna), Katie Coburn and Marcy Franks. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Church of Christ (1525 Damron Branch Rd, Grayson, KY 41143).
In honor of Betty's compassionate spirit, the family suggests that donations be made in her memory to Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Ave., Ashland, KY 41101.
