He is survived by: his wife Brenda Gilbert Claxon; his stepsons, Jody Gilbert (Daylena) of Grayson and Randy Gilbert of Ironton, Ohio; and his sisters, Debbie Vanbibber (Maurice) of Greenup, Linda Hunt (Steve) of South Shore and Margaret Smallwood (Richard) of Greenup, Kentucky. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and a host of extended family members and dear friends.
