He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ray Kennedy and Doris J. Lawhun Kennedy; his great grandchild Peyton Leigh Neal; and his sisters, Darlene Spillman and Donna Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Chalma Reddix Kennedy; his children, Melissa Kennedy of Oldtown, Dana Neal of Paris, Stacy Lyons (Tim) of Owingsville, Jonathan Kennedy (Lori) of Oldtown and Steve Kennedy of Lexington; and his sister Karen Fraley (Don) of Grayson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
