He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Estill and Florence Porter Sloas; his significant other Carolyn Adkins Sloas; his son Randy Gene Adkins; his siblings, Estill Sloas, Jr., Watts Truman Sloas and Norma Jean Sloas; his grandson Dalton Cole Adkins; his niece Stacy Sue Sloas Kiser; and his brother-in-law Seth Justice.
He is survived by: his children, Lesa Gillum, Chris Sloas of Grayson and Brian Sloas of Grayson; his grandchildren, Brittney Doyle, Christopher Sloas, Jr., Christopher Spillman, Skyler LeGrand, Celsey Adkins and Brianna Sloas; and his siblings, Rosie Justice of Grayson, Linda Handloser (Art) of Ashland, Jewell Sprouse (Bobby) of Grayson, Gerald Sloas (Bonnie) of Grayson and Edward Sloas (Charlene) of Grayson. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Malone Funeral Home (325 Malone Ln, Grayson, KY 41143). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
