The memory of Ethel Slone of Grayson, Kentucky, born in Hitchins, Kentucky, who passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank McGuire and Saphronia Easterling McGuire; her husband Billy Jack Slone; her son-in-law Randy Boggs; and her siblings, Harold, Grant McGuire, Agnes Hutchins, Katherine Shaffer, Merle McClave and Georgia Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline (Tim Woods), Bernice (Jerry Adams), David, Kim Slone of Grayson, Greg and Salli Slone of Perryville; her grandchildren, Ryan, Miranda Tussey, Courtney, Barrett Bush, Kegan, Hannah Tussey, Jessica, Ben Fritz, Jared, Robin Adams, Emily, Aaron Rayburn, Sarah, Alex Johnson, Camden, Holli Slone, Lauren Slone and Christian Mealey; her great grandchildren, Chaseton Tussey, Nicole Porter, Treven Tussey, Sarah Haney, Bryce, Allie Bush, Brady, Abbie Bush, Hudson Tussey, Haddox Tussey, Bennett Fritz, Beckett Fritz, Slone Fritz, Claudia Adams, Asher Rayburn, Avery Rayburn, Lincoln Johnson and Samuel Slone; her stepgrandchildren, Jadyn Newsome and Hudson Lilly; and her pet Hollie. She is also survived by "Nanny" by her 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Malone Funeral Home (325 Malone Ln, Grayson, KY 41143). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
