He was predeceased by: his father Robert Woodrow; his wife Francis J. Crawford Mays; and his children, Timothy, Edward, Ronnie Mays and Linda Edmonds.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Mays of North Carolina, Jimmy Mays of Michigan, William Mays of Kentucky and Mary Mays of Michigan. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.
