He is survived by : his mother Dolores Owens Shaffer of Grayson; his wife Mary Jane Castle Shaffer; his sons, Brenton Shaffer (Frances) of South Point and Steven Earl Shaffer (Lynn) of Georgetown, Kentucky; his stepson Donald Easterling; his grandchildren, Chad, Tyler, Madison, Brianna and Sydney; and his brothers, William Earl Shaffer of Grayson and Norman Allen Shaffer of Grayson.
