He is survived by: his sisters, Myrtle Skaggs, Julie Smith, Sue Johnson, Katherine Waddell, Dixie Elam and Mary Mauk; his caregiver Lucille Adkins; his son Jimmy Whitt (Steph) of Grayson; his stepgrandchildren, Greg Steele (Jessi), Herb Steele (Georgiana), Patrick Anthony Steele and Crystal Hicks of Olive Hill; and his close friend Robin Lewis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
