We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2025, at the age of 81, JoAnn Vernon Kiser (Grayson, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid JoAnn farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For JoAnn is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernal Vernon and Alice Vernon; her husband Gordon Kiser, Sr.; and her siblings, Dorothy Johnson and Richard Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Jovenna Kiser, Gloria Jeannette Kiser and Alisa Jo Messer (Michael); her grandchildren, Lacy Harris (Tony), Dylan Clifton and Joseph Aiden Bailey; and her great grandchild Aiden Wayne Harris.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Malone Funeral Home (325 Malone Ln, Grayson, KY 41143). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
