She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Rice and Pauline Hensley Rice; her siblings, Gracie Smith, Jim Rice and Jay Walter Rice; her nephew Adam Rice; and her great-nephew Tommy Mendoza.
She is survived by: her siblings, Vina Miller of Ashland, Faye Adkins of Ashland, KY, Brenda McDavid of Grayson, KY, Judy Meadows (Jim) of Grayson, KY, Carol Ison of Ashland, KY, Chuck Rice of Rush, KY and Don Rice of Grayson, KY; her sister-in-law Cathy Rice of Grayson, KY; her nephews, Josh Marshall (Sarah) and Dakota Meadows; her niece Kayla Meadows; and her close friend Mary Rucker of Grayson, KY. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, extended family, church family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and at 11:00 PM at the Malone Funeral Home (325 Malone Ln, Grayson, KY 41143). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family, to help with purchasing Kathy a headstone.
