She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Josh Stewart; and her stepfather Bo Smith. She is survived by: her parents, Barbara Sargent Smith and Phillip Stemmer (Melanie); her husband David Allen Gifford; her children, Amanda Marie Walters (Michael) of Ashland, Jerry Phillip Traylor (Megan) of Union and Sarah Dawn Skinner (John) of Grayson; her pet Hank; her siblings, Kristen Arnett (Moe) of Frankfort, Kristopher Stemmer (Katie) of Lexington and Courtenay Crum (Mike) of Ashland; her stepbrother Bo Smith of Ashland; and her friend Barbara Grier (Bob) of St. Pete, FL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Malone Funeral Home (325 Malone Ln, Grayson, KY 41143). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
