He was predeceased by: his parents, James Epling and Lavetta Meade Holston; his niece Robin Lawson; and his sister-in-law Karen Epling. He is survived by: his wife Linda Morin Epling; his sons, Jason Morin (Shawna) of Orlando, FL, Jeffrey Morin (Melissa) of Ashland, KY and Richard Epling, Jr. (Ashley) of Ashland, KY; and his siblings, James "Pete" Epling of Olive Hill, KY, Jerry Epling (Bunni) of Raceland, KY, Sean Holston of Franklin Furnace, OH, Roberta Epling Adkins (Dan) of Grayson, KY and Maggie Holston of Franklin Furnace, OH. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
