It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arlene Chaudoin Durrett Shepherd of Greensburg, Kentucky, who passed away on September 23, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Harrison Milby Chaudoin and James Milton "Joe" Chaudoin; her husbands, Ores Durrett and Edward Shepherd; and her siblings, William Chaudoin, Bonita Chaudoin, Harold Chaudoin, Garland "Cotton" Chaudoin, Cornella Williams, Joyce Marr, Lera DeSpain and Hallie Sharpe.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Durrett (Lisa), Stan Durrett (Kathy), Barry Durrett, Millicent Durrett and Patricia Daugherty (Blaine); and her stepchildren, Dean Shepherd, David Clinton Shepherd (Cindy), Dennis Shepherd, Connie Starr and Susan Bernardi (Tom). She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home (209 W Court St, Greensburg, KY 42743). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to the Gideons for Bibles.
