He is survived by: his mother Judith Erfert; his wife Annette Bergemann Dengel; his sons, Jason Dengel (Taryn), Christopher Dengel (Amy), Billy Dengel (Abigail) and Paul Dengel (Cortney Moses); his siblings, James Dengel of Missouri, Daniel Dengel of Georgia and Lynette Mews of Wisconsin; and his pet Minnie. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
