He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lou Ervin Young of Little Barren; his son Tony Carlton Young; his daughter-in-law Penny of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Britt Ervin Young (Kara) and Bryson Jewell Young (Becca); his great grandchildren, Brody Douglas Young of Metcalfe County and Clayton Russell Young of Metcalfe County; his brother Bro. Meryl Lee Young; his sister-in-law Ruth Ann of Green County; his sister Deanna Hope Houk; and his brother-in-law Ronnie of Green County. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Little Barren Cemetery Fund or Gideon Bible Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
