He was predeceased by: his parents, Rural Moran and Maydell Oakes Moran; and his sister-in-law Colleen Moran. He is survived by: his wife Sandra "Sandi" Darnell Moran; his daughters, Erin Beth (Zac Hickerson) and Beth; his brother Ronnie Moran of Greensburg; his sister-in-law Vicki Darnell of Greensburg; and his sibling's children, Buffy of Greensburg, Jay Scantland of Greensburg, Tim of Greensburg and Kim Darnell of Greensburg. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home (206 S Main St, Greensburg, KY 42743). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens (700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY 42718).
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or the Green County Public Library which can both be made at the funeral home.
