He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Leslie Gentry and Elizabeth Moran Gentry. He is survived by: his son Rollin; his daughter-in-law Kristi Gentry of Greensburg; his granddaughter Mackenzie (Alex Colvin) of Greensburg; his great grandchildren, Fischer Colvin, Oliver Colvin and Madison Colvin; and his close friend Mary Morris of Elizabethtown. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hosparus of Green River which can be made at the funeral home.
