It is with sadness that the passing of Diana Cook-Laney of Greenup, Kentucky is shared. Diana, born on October 14, 1949, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Diana will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Diana by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Diana is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Diana’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia McConnell and Thomas McConnell; and her sisters, Rita Lewis and Barbara Adkins. She is survived by: her children, Tommy Cook (Teresa) of Greenup, Tammy Sizemore (Bob) of Greenup, Terry Cook (Elaine) of Greenup, Jerry Cook of Raceland, Tina Potter (Kenny) of Greenup and Sarah Johnson (Shawn) of West Portsmouth, Ohio.; and her siblings, Sue Sizemore of Wurtland, KY and David Bradbury (Donna) of Greenup, Kentucky.. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Reed Funeral Home (612 Main St, Greenup, KY 41144). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
