He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Boyd and Minnie Scaggs Boyd; and his brothers, Ervin Boyd (Bob), Bill Boyd and James Boyd.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Rae Cusick (Gene) of Dunnellon, Susan Deynes (Ismael) of Land O' Lakes, Julie Davis (Chad) of Greenup, Heather White (James Stamper) of Wurtland and Stacey Muncy (Kayla) of South Shore; his siblings, Danny Boyd (Sandy), Diana Leidy (Dean) and Betty Marshall; his grandchildren, Christina Lamb, Amanda Boyd, Elizabeth Cusick, Taylor Dong, McKayla Sammons, Lauren Sammons, Cora Hamilton, Coleman Davis, Jackson Davis, Cassidy Davis, Mason White, Aiden Hamilton, Josephine Davis and Abby White; and his great grandchild Misty Morey.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carman Funeral Home (2301 Argillite Rd, Flatwoods, KY 41139). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
