She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hancock and Margaret McDowell Hancock; her husband Phillip Griffith Sr.; her sons, Infant Mark Allen Griffith and Phillip Griffith Jr.; and her brother Jeffery Hancock.
She is survived by: her grandson Justin Griffith (Sara McClanahan) of Greenup, Kentucky; her great grandchild Joseph; her brothers, Michael Hancock of Greenup, Terry Hancock (Becky) of Wurtland, Kentucky and Mike; her sister-in-law Cindy Griffith of Greenup, Kentucky; and her daughter-in-law Connie Burton Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Reed Funeral Home (612 Main St, Greenup, KY 41144). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
At the family request in lieu of flowers donation may be made towards funeral expenses.
