It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Sturgill of Greenup, Kentucky, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 29, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his parents, Seymour Sturgill and Betty Sturgill (June); his daughters, Mia Hensley of Marion, OH and Peyton Sturgill of Marion, OH; his siblings, Seymour and Jessica Hamilton (Lee Prince) of Greenup, KY.; and his children, Eric Elder of Greenup, KY, Casey Johnson (Rachel Anderson) of Greenup, KY and James "Bubba James" Hay.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral cost.
