Shirley Joyce Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Joyce (Greenup, Kentucky), born in Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on October 7, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Henry and Lillian Williams Henry; her husband Billy Joe Joyce; her children, John Bailey, Paul Bailey, Richard Joyce and Cheryl Austin; and her siblings, Charles Henry, Lester Henry, Milford Henry and Virginia Elrod.

She is survived by: her children, Scott Joyce (Dawn) of Sciotoville, Ohio and Penny Murta of Wheelersburg, Ohio. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the Sciotoville Community School athletic or band programs in honor of Shirley.
