He was predeceased by: his parents, William Darnell and Dorthula Miller Darnell; his wife Norma Jean "Mim" Darnell; his siblings, Elsie Darnell Johnson Stephens and Gerald Darnell; and his nephew Jerry Darnell.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Brent Craft, Megan Craft Howard (Derek), Eric Craft (Shelby), William Darnell and Harrison Darnell; his great grandchildren, Makenna, Brody Howard, Mattingly and Emerson Craft; and his niece Brenda Johnson Brideweser of Troy, Ohio.. He is also survived by his family, Thurman was not just "Dad", "Papaw".
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY.
