He was predeceased by: his parents, William Elmer and Mildred Baisden Chambers; and his siblings, Ernest Bevins Jr., Allen Dale Chambers, Rosa Lee Schwintosky and Judy Flowers.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Rister Chambers; his children, Anthony Rister (Sherry) of Hilliard, Florda, William Chambers II (Anita) of Chesapeake, James David Chambers (Tammy) of South Point, Ohio and Jackie Perry (Michael) of Russell, Kentucky; his siblings, Larry Chambers of Sequin, Texas, Sharry White (Jack) of Delbarton, Ernestine Southland and Bonnie Bevins of Lake; his grandchildren, Owen Perry, Nichole Adkins (Drew), Matthew Rister (Christy) and Haley Fairchild (Stephen) of Huntington; and his great grandchildren, Annie, Lindsay, Ezra and Camden. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
