He was predeceased by : his parents, Margie Kennedy and Buell Kennedy; his son Bruce Alan Kennedy; his sister Jewell Hardwick; and his former life partner Anna Blake Kennedy.

He is survived by : his wife Rose Boria Kennedy; and his son Keith Kennedy. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
