She was predeceased by : her parents, James Taylor and Annie Atkins Taylor; her husband J. W. "Jake" Boyd; and her siblings, Milt, Moscoe, Melvin, Howard, Lewis Taylor, Huel Askew, Bessie Edmonds, Ruby May and Maggie Taylor.

She is survived by : her children, Larry Boyd of Hopkinsville and Carolyn Boyd of Greenville; and her grandson Josh Boyd of Hopkinsville.
