She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Ellison and Louise Mitchell Howard Humphrey; her husband Ernest Franklin Ashby, Jr.; her daughter Stacy Ashby Burden; and her brothers, Mason Humphrey, Steve Humphrey and Chester (Sambo'Humphrey).
She is survived by: her son Lacy Ashby (Melissa Hawks) of Livermore; her son-in-law John Burden (Courney Douglas) of Greenbrier, Tennessee; her granddaughters, Cinamon Burden (Michael) and Makayla Smith; her great grandchildren, Roman Burden and Atticus Burden; and her siblings, Robert Earl Humphrey of Livermore and Lydia Taylor (Henry Glenn) of Island. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
