He was predeceased by : his grandfather Tom Mercer; and his uncle Doug Mercer. He is survived by : his parents, Connie Evitts (Gerald) of Greenville and Dale Allen of Drakesboro; his daughter Ava Nicole Allen; his grandmother Pauline Franklin; and his brothers, Brad Gardner (Emily), Jon Evitts (Paula) and Lincoln Evitts (Aly). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
