She was predeceased by: her parents, James William and Jessie Elizabeth Shelton; her husband Tom Bard; her children, Tom Bard, Jr. (TJ) and Tonia Bard; and her sister Carolyn Ann Tidwell.
She is survived by: her children, Sonia Conner (Russell) and Ryan Bard (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Jessica Bard, Kyran Riley (Caroline), Charmaine Keys, Nyra Bard, Nicee Conner, Ryan and Rylee Bard; her great grandchildren, Tom James, Avianna and Aniyah; her siblings, Valarie Curry, James Shelton (Shirley), Hylan Shelton, Greg Shelton (Brenda) and Steve Shelton; her siblings-in-law, Celastine Bard, Orale Parker and Wendell Bard; and her uncle Wilbur Frazier. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
