He was predeceased by: his parents, Geroge Dwight Toney and Aretta Hair Toney; his former wife Alice Louise Toney; his son Ricky Lee Toney; his siblings, Thomas, Vivian Toney and Mary Phillips; his granddaughter Priscilla Godwin; and his daughter Brenda Faye Toney.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Toney; his children, Cindy Louise Toney, Evelyn Marlene Goff, Jeannie Robbins (Walter), Doris Ann Rodriguez (P. R.), James D. Toney (Vivian), April Lynn Newton, Patricia Ann Gardner and Frank Newton; and his brothers, George Michael Toney and Pete Marvin Toney. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Alexander Funeral Home (509 Spring St, Irvington, KY 40146). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (2501 N Dixie Blvd, Fort Knox, KY 40160).
