He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Burns and Margaret Burns; and his granddaughter Khloe Vann. He is survived by: his wife Christy Burns; his children, Ginny Vann (Tim) and Jared Burns (Angela); his grandchildren, Klayton Vann (Catie Banks) and Kenna Vann; and his siblings, Coleen Northrop (Cliff), Mike Burns and Marsha Langan (Tom). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, friends & his eight fur babies.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Mayo Clinic to support Amyloidosis research.
