He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Eugene and Eva Bell O'Bryan Benton; his wife Mary Benton; his brothers, Robert and Rabourn Benton; and his nephew Adam Benton.
He is survived by: his close friend Linda Williams of Guthrie; and his nieces and nephews, Amanda Davis of Trenton, Alesha Benton of Hopkinsville, Richard Benton (Lynn) of Kirkmansville and Randy Benton (Stacy) of Guthrie, Kentucky..
