He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Clinard and Annie Marie O'Bryan Clinard; his sisters, Shirley Johnson and Margie Darden; and his granddaughter Makayla Barrow.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Dunn (Crystal) of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Sharon Barrow of Oak Grove, Kentucky; and his siblings, Tommy Clinard (Vicky) of Guthrie, Larry Clinard (Sissy) of Guthrie, Raymond Clinard (Leanne) of Clarksville, Stevie Clinard of Pembroke, Kentucky, Pam Shelby (Russell) of Guthrie and Debbie Shelby (Charles) of Guthrie. He is also survived by two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
