In the sacred silence of farewell, Jerry is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Jerry's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Stokes and Margaret Knight Stokes; and his siblings, Michael Stokes and Ann Northfleet. He is survived by: his wife Jane Stokes of Guthrie; his sons, Chris Stokes of Lewisburg and Nathan Stokes of Trenton; and his sisters, Brenda West of Crofton and Elaine Steakley of Elkton. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cook-Webb Funeral Home (216 Park St W, Guthrie, KY 42234). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at the Highland Cemetery East Park.
