We bid farewell to James Demoss of Hanson, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 4, 2026 at the age of 80. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary DeMoss and Wharton DeMoss; his wife Laquaita DeMoss; his son Shane DeMoss; and his sister Mary Matlock.
He is survived by: his children, Steve DeMoss (Cheryl) and Stephanie Crawford (PJ); and his sister Addie Benning. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren, including bonus children.
