He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Prunty Jr. and Mary Katherine Hawkins Prunty; and his half-brother Ronald Lee Prunty. He is survived by: his children, Ashley Prunty-LeSane (Joseph) and Robert "Bobby" L. Prunty Jr.; his grandchildren, Chloe, Amelia, Leighanna, Leo and Silas; his brothers, Russell Prunty (Kimberly), Randy Prunty (Mahala) and Ricky Prunty (Barbara); and his half-sister Cindy Burton (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Manakee Funeral Home - Elizabethtown (2098 Leitchfield Rd, Elizabethtown, KY 42701). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Robert Leslie Prunty Sr., to support ongoing cancer research and the fight against cancer.
