He is survived by: his children, Ernest Meece Jr. (Chantel) of Somerset, Shane Meece (Ashton) of Somerset, Jamie Meece of Somerset, Linda Pool (Troy) of Hardinsburg, Brenda Meece-Aubrey of Custer and Jessica Meece (Justin) of Somerset; his brother David Meece (Helen) of Somerset; his grandchildren, Joshua Lucas (Sarah), Lauren Denner (Billy), Cole Aubrey (Allie), Genesis Meece, Remy Meece, Kyrie Meece, Joshie Godbey, Zoey Godbey, Kensley Dyer, Leiya Meece, Bella Meece, Devin Meece and Kaleb Meece; and his former wife Linda Aubrey. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
