He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Melton and Grace Edwards Melton; and his siblings, Albert Ray, Fred Leslie Melton, Alma Trulock, Glenna Faye Melton and Thelma Sue Melton.
He is survived by: his brother Willis K. Melton of Hardyville, KY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and nephews and extended family.
