It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Ferguson of Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on February 19, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ann leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Ann may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Craig and Evelyn Craig (Wilson); her daughter Tammy Wacks; her brother Johnny Craig; and her grandson Michael Joshua Tackett.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Tackett (Shawna) of Georgia, Donna Branson of Harlan and Wendy Clem of Harlan; and her siblings, Pat Ball (Mike) of Grays Knob, Kelly Craig of Coldiron, Eli Craig, Jr. (Shirley) of Molus and Monroe Craig (Teresa) of Olive Hill, KY. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
