It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Parsons of Harlan, Kentucky, born in Winfield, Alabama, who passed away on May 15, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Carole Lawson; her stepfather Ova Lawson; her father Wilford Ballard; and her former husband Harold Parsons. She is survived by: her children, Greg Parsons (Renie) and Bridgette Kimel (Kris); her brothers, Danny Lawson and Mike Lawson; her grandchildren, Brittany Gratton (Blake), Emory Courtney (Brooks) and Spencer Parsons (Cameron); and her great grandchildren, Harper and Knox Gratton.
